Just watched a video posted on YouTube a few hours ago about a new XC40 hybrid catching fire and battery exploding.



If it’s real and not fake news it looks pretty serious!😳
I doubt Volvo can do anything about it without the fault codes 😉

Whatever happened, and I’m sure it will be investigated, we have to hope that the gentleman and his granddaughter make a speedy recovery.

Yes, these delights await us. Only going to get worse as vehicles age and are "serviced" at home and at under the arches garages.

I hope that the doors fail safe to unlock? Unbearable to think that they don't.
