Had a reply saying that the behaviour of staff was totally unacceptable and will be dealt with. Hopefully I will notice a change in behaviour on my next visit………he assuming I’ll go back to them again I guess.

Perhaps suggest to them you need an "incentive" to visit them again...

I wouldn't hold my breath, leopards and spots spring to mind. I wouldn't be going back.

This could be why you’ve not had an invoice. I’ve not had my first Volvo Scheduled Service yet, but with other manufacturers and service plans I’ve been given paperwork for health checks and complimentary roadside assistance, but never an invoice for the work carried out. I’m guessing the invoice goes to the service plan administrator.
My car is covered by the Volvo Service Plan, and is serviced not at the selling dealer, but at a local (non-sales) authorised Volvo service agent.

I've received a full detailed invoice for every service so far (and for warranty work for a misfire) with me as the "customer" but the appropriate Volvo department as the billing address.

Snows were absolutely shocking with the order and delivery of my new car. Countless emails and phone calls of mine went unanswered. There was absolutely zero communication from the sales team. The delivery date on the car kept on changing and every time I called asking for an update, nobody was available to speak. I was promised calls back but no one ever did call back. Logged numerous complaints with Snows Customer Service team, never got a reply. One day my car order simply just turned up at my house, no call/ email to let me know of the delivery.
The only correspondence I had from Snows was an email after delivery stating that I had opted out of an customer service questionnaire (which I hadn't!) I would have liked to have been part of the questionnaire, as I was looking forward to expressing my dissatisfaction.
Never again, complete shambles of a company.

That's absolutely disgraceful. Funny that they said you opted out of the questionnaire!

Volvo needs to know about that but they don't seem to be much better and as long as they are selling cars won't do much about it.

I have to sadly report that I too had similar treatment from Southampton - very little and unfriendly communication with emails unanswered - and also no feedback questionnaire! I am tempted, when time for the first service comes, to drive a little further to a different franchise...

If you are made to stand at the service counter like a naughty school boy whilst the 2 behind the desks talk I can assure you it won’t get any better.
If you find it’s not great please complain or let me know and I’ll give you the e mail of the guy I got a reply from.
