D3 auto gear box

Hi all

Have had my MY2021 D3 Auto for a month now and love the car.

What I have noticed is when approaching a junction / roundabout, when I pull off it high revs on occasions and then seems to find a gear and go. I wouldn't say I am particular putting my foot down to go so kick down comes in but feel like it's just not right.

I too have a D3 of similar age and very occasionally have noticed the behaviour that you describe. I have not been able to identify any particular set of conditions that precipitates it, and since the rate of occurrence is very low am not bothered by it. The only thing I would add, is that I am quite “light footed” and I suppose it is possible that the kick down a bit sensitive at the margins.

Had a D3, never had that issue …

Might be worth logging it with your dealership to see if there’s any software updates or at least you’ve had it recorded in case it gets worse down the line
