Just looking at where to run the wire for the dashcam, thinking of hard wire kit.. Just a thought would it not be a good idea for the manufacture to have a usb slot in the centre binnacle this would make it so much easier for the fitting of accessories. A short lead and its job done..

I’m having a Thinkware dashcam fitted by my dealer on Thursday so if you’ve not done yours before then drop me a message and I can let you know where they connected it to.

It’s a great idea, probably why Skoda are already doing that on some models. Simply clever…

I don't understand why the onboard cameras aren't used for the purpose of a dashcam. Seems stupid to have all the hardware but not the software.

Is yours a new vehicle? I'd be interested in the fuses used too.

And me or cars should have a factory fit option if existing cameras are too low.
