Towbar . Dealer fit of other supplier ????

Looking to have a towbar fitted, I have heard stories of some having problems with the tec after fitting, the cost is only around £350 difference to a local supplier. Has anyone had issues' with none factory tow bars etc.. I had a factory fitted towbar on my Kadjar same system as the volvo via switch in boot and never had any problems and very neat,,

Had mine fitted by a local specialist, a detachable swan neck. Had no issues at all and all functions work as they should.

Had a factory towbar fitted at new. Great product. Only had one issue last year when the towbar failed to deploy. Turning the engine off and back on again seemed to clear whaever fault had occurred. Tow every weekday with mine.
