Google system Driver Display

New to Volvo, so still learning the Google system. Can anyone explain why my Driver Display navigation map showed only couple of arrows last night with “keep right in 28 miles”? All the detail of roads around the route which are normally there had disappeared.

Bottom Right Button on the steering wheel (has 3 lines in a square on it) flips driver display between, Off, Maps and Arrows.
XC40 MY24 B4 Ultimate Dark, Black Leather, Crystal White, 20" Rims

Thanks. I think the button had been pressed inadvertently while driving and I hadn’t seen arrows before, only a blank screen.
