Pairing car and app
Ok… so a 30 year+ IT career is clearly not enough to allow me to work out how to pair an Android phone with AAOS. I’ve got my iPhone connected no problem and I wanted to connect my Android phone too. I’ve read the support article and duly created a new profile in the car (seems you can’t have two phones connected in the same AAOS profile) and then run through the connection procedure in the new profile, but after I’ve entered the vin in the app and the car has found the keys, I get sweet nothing… both ends of the connection sit there spinning and then the car times out and tells me no phone found. Volvo’s knowledge base appears not to have any useful info for this scenario. Anyone got any ideas?? I’m more than ready to concede that I’m doing it wrong!!
