The crystal shifter is standard with leather seats or wool blend ones in Recharge models regardless of the trim level you choose.

I'd have been happy with a nice stitched one to match the seats like the one I have now. Talk about penny pinching!

Cro, unlocked using door handle, opened door, waited 20secs, closed door, gear lever illumination went out immediately I touched the door handle lock.

Me too, I think the crystal one looks cheap and much prefer my plain black plastic one but a stitched version should be standard in a "premium car". I'm surprised some enterprising company hasn't stitched up a nice leather cover, I would buy one.

Alcantara ones are available on AliExpress....

On the topic of AAOS 2.11 my B4 is steadfastly refusing to acknowledge its existence! I assume Volvo are releasing in waves so hopefully it won't be too soon.
T3 R-Design, Fusion Red, Early 21 (hers). Fully loaded.

That stitching doesn't match anything in the car and looks cheap.

I'd take the Hand Made Crystal Glass shifter anyday. Feels nice too and lights up like a little chandelier.
Having said that I'd swap it for a big engine with no Hybrid rubbish and AWD!
