Hello, i have a question: can i use 235/55 R19 summer tires instead of 235/50 R19? I get a great deal on 55s PremiumContact 7 Continentals.

I would say no your speedo would be out

Of course!
I want to sell my EcoContact 6 235/55 R18 together with their rims as they came from the factory. I want to use only the 19” rims i received from the dealer with Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 SUVs, which are very good (excellent grip on wet and dry but a bit weak on mileage). It never snowed since february, so i can’t conclude on that.

According to the latest premium touring summer tire test in 235/55 R19 size Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV is a “convincing premium tyre with a balanced high performance level, very good safety reserves against aquaplaning, short wet and dry braking distances.”

Hello, first thoughts on Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUVs 235/50 R19: very good cornering, better acceleration, good noise on motorway. Break on dry road similar as previous. Not tested on rain/wet roads yet.
Previous tyre: Pilot Alpin 5 SUV 19”.
