Android Auto with new Samsung

Hi

I have XC40 2020, and recently I changed my phone to newer Samsung.
Unfortunately, when I connect a cable, the car doesn't see it.
Older phone still works.

I wondered what it could be?

Have you downloaded / installed android auto on your new phone ? (We had to do on mother in laws),

As said above make sure your phone is fully updated.

I have a 2020 with Sensus system and it works perfectly with my S22 ultra. Although you have tried an older phone you could always try another cable.

I think from memory you had to enable developer mode on older Samsung phones for it to be recognised by the car for Android Auto. I had this on an old Samsing S10, only.found out by Googling the problem.
