can you retrofit puddle lights?

the bottom of my doors has a slot where a light could possibly be fitted but will my car have the wiring?

Best way to be sure is to pop the door panel off and have a look.
Would have said yes a few years back, but with modern cars, it could be a different loom from the door onwards…

I had puddle lights in our T5 RD Pro. Never used them. Because we had keyless entry, we approached the car, it unlocked and we got in. Even if we used a fob to unlock the car, I wouldn’t have seen the benefit. Bit of a gimmick imo.
R Design Pro T5 AWD in Crystal White. Convenience Pack, Front Parking and Apple Car. Couldn’t afford anything else!! Arriving late September 2019.

They're more for getting out of the car, when you open the door you can see what you're about to step in to. Very useful if you often park in unlit places.
