It seems my aircon fan has failed. There's nothing coming out of any of the vents at all. Anyone else had this? I've read of it blowing the wrong temperature or whatever, but I haven't seen any reports of a total failure. Could be a fuse or software perhaps? But I get the feeling that when changing temp settings etc I can hear it adjusting behind the dash, just that no air actually flows...
I had to have the windows open to stop it getting really stuffy - not going to be fun when it's raining, thankfully I have a heated windscreen.

Depends when it was bought. Mine's MY20 but the warranty ran out in July.

I think mine was one of the very last MY20s off the production line, so I'm good until next June.
However my dealership are so busy they can't even look at it until mid-October. I thought of buying USB fans to demist the side windows in the meantime but I think I'll just try very hard not drive when it's raining.

This was one of the many issues we had with our XC40 that led to it being traded in - ours was a MY2020 car.
We kept being told it was software and then an electrical issues where they stripped the whole dash out, never resolved in the end so we traded it for a new XC60

Well they had it for three days and were in dialogue with Volvo in Sweden. Something to do with the wiring and a block connector which they sorted under warranty.

Funnily enough we had the exact same response with our old XC40. May not be what you want to hear but didn't resolve our issue....
