Also ordered a B4 Ultimate Dark. Ordered mid July hoping for mid October collection. Talked to the dealer about three weeks ago and late December was mentioned, though it was suggested that it could be a little earlier.
Ordered in late July - app says queued for production late November. We'll see. Its a CbV 36 month subscription, glad I got the order in before the recent large price hike.
Yes, I noticed the recent massive monthly price increase. CbV told me they are expecting the B4 Ultimate to be offered with AWD again. If so I may consider buying one instead of continuing with CbV rental. Also noticed they are showing model year as MY24!
I imagine they use the price to control and match the no of cars coming down the line not just due to price of components. The weak pound also presumably has something to do with it.
If they reintroduce the AWD Ultimate B4 I'll probably buy one. Else I'll buy the new BMW X1 218bhp. Quite impressive on the test drive last week. Went and handled beautifully. But didn't like the over complicated dash.
Just spoke with my dealership and he has memo showing AWD deleted from 2024 lineup. This conflicts with what CbV customer services told me. They reckon AWD being reintroduced soon. It's a mystery that's pointing toward an X1 M Sport Pro 23i. Shame I like the XC40.
Would be really useful to know about the AWD, ordered Ultimate for the various other features over Plus, mainly the panoramic roof, accepting FWD. If AWD becomes available before the drop dead order date I'd go for that I think
