Printed owners manual

Just wondering if you get a printed owners manual with the car.

The reason I ask is that I contacted Volvo UK to see if I could get a printed brochure and price list and they replied saying that they no longer provided printed copies for environmental reasons.

I know I can download one but I much prefer having a printed one in the car.

You get an electronic one on the centre console. All you have to do to open it is…… Whoops!! I forget. Never mind, it tells you how in the manual…

No you don't really...there's the one inbuilt in the central screen...and a great one you can download to your phone. I believe you can also download one from Volvo's website..I did plenty of reading in the 8 months waiting for delivery

Okay, thanks. Not ideal really as I don't like reading from screens despite over 20 years working in IT !

You do get a printed booklet that tells you the most important things about the car, including, I suspect how to open up the main manual in the centre console screen or phone app.

I think you can also if you wish ask your dealer to order you a printed copy which is at extra cost.

I received one with my MY20 but if you leave in the stupidly small glove box it fills it up. so the electronic one in centre console is the best bet and use the printed one to read at leisure

With a lot of pestering I got a full copy through my dealers but they had to get it from Sweden!

Thanks for that, maybe something for me to try when I place an order. I assume it's the same with the service record, online only.
