Just a hypothetical question,

I have an D3 R Design, i have noted on the driver assist screen, the Ap's for adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist are there, but greyed out. I am wondering if it would be a simple computer plug in to activate these features, as standard i have collision mitigation and lane departure warning/steering?

Sorry- I'm not sure, but check with your dealer. It might require a motor in the steering system, but it might also just use the power steering motors. If so - it might just be a software update / config change.

Yes it can be but I guess price could be high.
