Hi Scott, did you notice physiogirl’s quote is per month?!
Ah, that does make a difference somewhat. Must learn to read through thoroughly before commenting sometimes, thought it sounded too good to be true!

My renewal was per annum, however so that makes me feel better :D
Ohhh I wish it was yearly ohh the savings  , yearly it's £2592 , monthly £216 but luckily I'm able to buy the car outright which means no PCP needed so monthly just insurance and petrol costs and the qoute of £216 is within budget and my uncle said if the premium next year is too much just look else were as you don't have to stay with them.

He’s right, you’ll always be cheaper switching each year. There’s no reward for loyalty in that industry.

Ordered 12/03/18 - D4 R Design Pro - Fusion Red.

Now there are more T3's out there I've been able to get a more realistic price.
I've been getting about £350/£400 annual quotes.
24 with 6NCB in the South East near London isn't too bad

Interesting some of the quotes you guys are achieving makes me quite jealous. I’ve not had a car insured in my name for over 10 years so no NCB. I am a named driver on my wife’s policy. The best quote thus far is with her insurer - Admiral on a multi car policy . I’ll see little change from £800 though to be fair I live in inner London and that includes my 3 kids being on the policy and one of them is still on a provisional licence. So I can’t complain really
T5 Inscription Pro, Pine Grey, blond interior . Intellisafe pro Xenium pack, Harmon Kardon. Ordered 25th Sept. 18. Delivered 19 Dec following a cancellation and move to earlier factory assembly slot.

Any feedback on what you tell the insurer regarding factory options ?

1 / just say the trim level ( r design, etc )
2 / trim + any pack names ( winter, winter plus, etc )
3 / trim plus ignore the pack and go through everything above basic package ( heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, etc ).

We pay £346 FC on a MY2020 T3 R-design. My wifes policy with 3 years NCB, 2 claims, business use, decent postcode with me as named driver.
We were happy with that, nearly half the cost of our 2017 Tiguan we had before.

You generally tell them the make, model, reg number, possibly trim level.

They aren't interested in add ons, packs, whether it has mud flaps etc.

Unfortunately neither is anyone else when you come to sell. Add ons, Packs, extras are just for you. They might make it easier to sell but generally don't add any value.
