Hi all, Its been raining round my neck of the woods (SE London) and needed to nip to the shops this morning. I accidentally dropped my house keys between my seat and the drivers door and reaching down under my seat to recover said keys I noticed the carpet was wet. Upon further investigation I found a pool of water had collected under the amplifier. I've called Volvo on call and they sent an engineer round to investigate. He believes it may be the sunroof guttering and has taped up the sunroof with duck tape for the time being. Will call up the dealership first thing Tuesday to book it in. Hopefully they've not left out any parts during assembly!!

Not good, let's hope it's an easy fix for you, please do let us know what dealer says, might go and quickly check mine just in case!

Are you one of those affected by the apparent bend in the sunroof? Could there be a connection?

After such a long period in the UK without much rain, it’ll be interesting to see if any more issues from that possible misfit get reported once we get a bit more autumnal.

I've had a look at the sunroof and don't think it has the sunroof bend. Will take a picture later and post it. I have spent a few hours investigating and have concluded that the sunroof is fine. I got the Mrs out with the hose pipe and I jumped in the car with part of the carpet lifted and there wasn't any water entering the cabin. The sunroof gutter egresses just behind the front wheel. Having said that I'm a little more concerned as I've managed to get my hand under the carpet and all the way under the passenger foot well and the foam is wet!. It's almost like the carpet was installed wet which is unlikely.

Finally have an update on my water leak. It was caused by a poorly installed pipe for the AC at the factory. My dealer has sorted the issue but had to remove the interior to trace the fault and to dry out the carpeting. Unfortunately.... I've now got a few scuff marks on some interior plastics due to it being stripped! Nothing extreme however, given its a brand new car I'm annoyed!! I've only just picked up the car so about to call the dealer to complain

With less than 900 miles, my car also had water on the passenger floor mat! After the Service Center took apart my glovebox, seat and carpet the floor was covered in water, seems the AC hose was twisted! Now my car is back in the shop because on the highway it has a tendency to lurch forward towards the car in front then the collision warning comes on and it slams on the breaks!! The dealership has not given me full information on what is wrong this time.

I got some things out of the lower storage area in the boot today only to find they were soaking wet. On lifting the storage liner there was at least half an inch of water sloshing about in the floor well. I think there will be a call to the dealer in the morning! I checked both the front and rear footwells for any sign of moisture but they are all ok. Our drive is fairly steep and weve had a lot of rain recently but you don't expect to find a swimming pool in your boot after some rain. Not impressed!

Rainy day in North Alabama. Hope Y'all don't mind me jumping in. Passenger Door, passenger window and sunroof have not been opened since rain began. Garage kept at night. Water drops on passenger floor liner and water droplets on right front door threshold. Worried . Close observationed - no smoking gun. Best guess- water fluttered in during drive around door. Just a guess. ???

This is the wife's daily driver, but when I drove the day previous , I thought I heard a slight flutter sound like a small towel was hanging out of right upper door pillar. Must say, other than this, car has been a lot of fun.
