Alarm on slippery driving conditions

Had this just flash up on the dash as quick as it came up it was gone.. Road conditions were dry and only 20mph .

Was it warning you that another Volvo in the area had encountered slippery conditions? As Volvos do that.

Like I said the roads were dry and speed 20mph… I was following a car 40m in front of me… outside temp was 10’ ..

Well there's your answer. It wasn't your car..the cloud indicates it has come from another Volvo via the cloud. So another car might have been driving on a muddy road nearby and had a bit of wheel slip. It's just warning you there might be slippery conditions nearby.

As above, it's the cloud indicating slippy conditions nearby.
I had it flash up on mine, and whilst it was useful, it would have been better to stay on slightly longer and perhaps a different symbol that showed in the central display...
