Paying off Volvo finance early?

I was informed the dealership receives a commission from Volvo UK.
2023 B4 Plus Dark AWD.Driver Assist and BLIS Tinted Rear Windows. Spare Wheel. Black

I did the same thing through Volvo finance last March. I was told (and it’s in writing) that I can settle the finance after 12 payments (ie after half of the term) without losing the benefits.
