For the 21 XC40, Admiral can't find my number plate. It is fine on Aviva or on comparison websites. No idea why it is. I am going to call them. Will it change anything ?
Also, I have an old small hactchback and the insurance policy has 9 years of no claim bonus. I would like to move the NCB to my XC40. Is it possible to change NCB on a policy half -way through ?

I called them up and moved my NCB from old car to the new car. Interestingly they had no issues in finding my XC40. Eventhough they may charge additional fees for using the customer service. They may be able to add more discounts to the policy. Altogether it is cheaper
