Sorry if this has already been discussed/answered but couldn’t find anything via the search function.
I have a 2022 electric XC40 and I’m baffled by the fact that it doesn’t seem to beep to alert you when a door is left open. I know it shows on the dashboard, but if you’re looking at the road/reverse cam rather than studying the dashboard, you won’t necessarily notice straight away. I’ve never driven another car that doesn’t beep if a door is left open and it seems like such a basic safety feature so I just cannot understand why the XC40 doesn’t have this! Is there a way to enable this feature? Thanks.
