Yes, I think charging is becoming the least of the issues though it still has a way to go.

Neighbours etc. I've spoken to mention the concerns I stated over insurance and fires.

I think sales will continue to increase as they are attractive to business users, as a second car for local use, those who like the latest tech and those who like the high performance (note I've left out those wanting cheaper running costs) and those who want to help the environment.

Beyond that I think sales will level off as those without drives or can't afford/don't want to pay the premium for EVs won't want to buy them and there might even be a backlash from the public at some point. Might be a few years away but I can a levelling off coming.

I think Japan is an EV-less-developed country.
The average capacity at the moment is maybe 40-50kWh.
Furthermore, only about two chargers are installed at each charging spot.
