I have an xc40 b4 mild hybrid with software version 2.11.
I have just upgraded to ios17 and when I connect my phone to CarPlay I get a charging error then usb error and failure to connect. I then try and plug in to charge my phone to the other usbc port I get charge then no charge. I have an iPhone 14
Has anyone else got a problem with this?
IOS 17 error to connect
If this is happening only with both USB ports in your car and it doesn’t happen with the same cable in other USB charging ports in your home or in another car, then it might be AAOS 2.11 incompatibility with the new iOS 17.
Unfortunately the next step in trying to solve this is erase all content and settings on your iPhone and reinstall from iCloud backup. I had to use this “nuclear option” to get rid of a pesky bug after updating to iOS 17, two days later Apple released 17.0.1 that among other things squashed that bug.

Not unknown for Apple to implement a few "undocumented features" in iOS releases... USB has been a favourite in the past...

Brand new B4 mild hybrid delivered today.
CarPlay worked flawlessly (ios17) for 2 hrs.
Returned to car an hour later and it can't find any of 3 iPhones. Charges them ok but can't connect.
Sigh.
