I am really curious, is it a storage place or something else? And if it is, than what for? I guess there may be a good reason why it is there but I have no idea... Keeping the mobile there is unconfortable, not really secure and also makes mo sense at all. Or is it for a pen, but again, why? My Yeti had a useless one like that as well. Money would have better spent in covering the plastic gear selector in some decent material.

Just had to go out and check my car as I thought it was a recent addition! Never been used obviously and there's plenty of storage for our needs anyway. Admired my leather covered (coveted came up in predictive text!) and stitched gear selector whilst I was there!

I use mine for storing dust!
