So, while messing around with the sim card,see other post, I found a big rubber cap like thing on the drive. Googled the valeo part number, and it came up with xc70 headlight cover cap.cars just been serviced, but I can't see anywhere this could fit, around my headlight. Any clues, I'm guessing it's fallen off after they serviced it? If I know where it goes I'll put it back myself rather than drive back to the dealers.

A couple of years ago, I found a jubilee clip on my drive where my car had been parked. This was the day after my car had been serviced by my Volvo. I spent quite some time trying to find where it had come from, but in the end concluded that a technician must have left it in the engine bay.

When I picked my car up from the last service the technician had left a screwdriver on the passenger seat. At least I didn't have to worry where that had come from!

Donkeys ago a Renault mechanic doing first service on my Fuego (I know, I know) left a socket on top of the air filter housing that gave the bonnet a speed bump! Had to have a huge argument with the Service Manager to get them to repair it
