I did order my new XC40 B4 AWD earlier today :)

The seller told me they are going to build the car around 15 september. Hope to have it end of september/ early october. Excited 🤗

The seller didn’t give me any VIN number… he gave me just order number

He also said that they are tracking the car through common order number (CON)

Maybe I could contact Volvo UK or someone else and then ask for further help to track the car?

Has anyone received a car lately?

Ordered a C40 on 4/3 and have been regularly reassured it will be with me by august and is still on track but the Volvo forums aren’t very active so I have no idea if anyone is actually receiving any c40/XC40 currently and what the lead time was?

The poll on this thread appears far too optimistic or dated

I will let you all know when I have some news about mine XC40 B4.
Still nothing new, the lastest is that they are building it September 15.

I ordered at the end of January and have been given a build date of 14 June and delivery at the end of June. That's for a B4 (mild hybrid). The pattern seems to be that mild hybrids are taking around 6 months, but plugin XC40s are taking a bit longer. Not sure whether things are any different with the C40, though.

I ordered an XC40 Plus (Dark) B4p AWD AT MY23 at the end of March. It’s currently down as deliver to dealer around 24th August. I had notification that I could now track my order on the Volvo app.

Hi all, new here!

MY23 XC40 B3 Plus ordered mid-December 2021 and had a call from the dealer that it's due for delivery this week :D Was quoted 6-7 months when ordering so pretty accurate.

I ordered mine end of may.
According to dealer it will be finished end of september.

Dealer called me now and told me that they are building the vehicle 2 monts earlier.

I don’t know how thats possible for a brand new Volvo XC40. First they said delivery end of September. Now it seems end of july.

I will not complain, just wondering how it’s possible to get new car from order to delivery in 60 days time.
