The test is very different now to 2018 so the results can't be compared. If the XC40 underwent the 2022 test it would probably score less than 92%.

I'd expect the XC40 to perform almost exactly the same as the C40 under the same test conditions, considering the only difference is the rear roofline.

As stated the 2018 tests were different to 2022 (they did perform extra tests in 2021 following the 2018 test specification with the introduction in the BEV and the results were unchanged, suggesting engine block protection and kerb weight do not factor).
