Delivery of my XC40 is due early June but the MOT and servicing on my Freelander is due in mid-May. I usually get it all done by my Land Rover dealer but as I am part exchanging it do you think I need to get it serviced? I can get it MOT from a local garage. I don't fancy shelling out 500 quid to get it serviced only for it to be sold to the Volvo dealer who would probably service it themselves anyway. Any thoughts?

Personally I wouldnt bother and save yourself the money, there is normally a leeway of a month or so anyway regarding servicing.

I have delayed service for a month in the past without warranty issue but then I checked with my main dealer first. Your main dealer can normally tell you how long you can leave it after its due and how many extra miles can be driven.
