Wheels 19 or 20 inch
I’ve got the 20’s on mine and they ride fine. I’ve no problems so far regarding kerbing as I use the surround camera when reversing, going forward I’m very careful. I also purchased winter tyres in 20’s and they performed excellently in our recent bad weather only difference is they are more noisy on tarmac !. To be honest I think they look better than the other sizes but it’s all down to personal choice of course.

At the end of the day its your choice. Do you prefer the look of 20s over a bit better comfort and better off road of 18s.

I meant 19s! 18s weren't an option on R Design when I bought mine.
The standard on an RD is 18" and 20" on the Pro. I find the 18" a great compromise between handling and comfort. Personally I would avoid 19/20/21" as it would compromise the comfort too much for me.

I have the 21 inch on an Inscription Pro and they are extremely comfortable - I can't compare with smaller size rims on XC40s, but against my previous XC60 on 18 inch wheels, the improvement is amazing. I imagine it has a lot to do with suspension technology improvements; my XC60 was a 2013 model R Design, but any fears i had about a harsh ride have completely gone.
Plus they look very nice

I have 20s on my RD Pro. I tested the momentum on either 17s or 18s cant remember which. I have noticed the suspension more on the RD than the change in wheel size. Definately more harsh with the larger wheels, but the 20s are perfect for filling the wheel arches. Its a trade off and depends on whats important to you. RD is a better handling suspension, though.
