I'm considering going for a drive in the Netherlands, Germany and Austria in May once I get my XC40.
I doubt anyone has managed to cross the channel from UK to EU with the car yet as it's only been a few weeks since the cars started going out to customers.
Do the headlights need adjusting when driving on the 'wrong' side? Any other things to consider for the XC40?
Driving in Europe
Very good question. No sign of any info in manuals. Suspect that needs an answer from your local dealer. Please post here when you get it.

Here are the only central screen settings for exterior lights.

Even if you don’t have adaptive shadow technology, due to the way the LED lights are set they will not dazzle they have a sharp cut off beam. So there is no setting for left or right hand drive. If you go onto Volvo forums.org there are guite a few posts about this pertaining to the xc60 and 90 which have the same lights if you don’t have AST.

Same on our VW Caravelle with LED head lights, no adjustments for Continental driving required, due to the very flat beam alignment
