When I spoke with the garage, they told me that not all newer batches of cars in Cyprus (XC40, XC60 e.t.c..) have this feature yet and Volvo is aware of the issue. I also spoke with a sales guy and he mentioned it will be rolled out slowly. No one gave any timelines as to when this will happen though.
Unfortunately neither sounded particularly sure so it's anyone's guess when if/when we'll get it
Also, my app version is 4.4.5, I don't see a newer version in the google play store.

Just a silly suggestion... it's not related to Apple or Android is it, maybe it's working for Apple but not Android

Has anyone found a definitive answer to this issue yet?
I'm a UK owner of a D3 Auto and can't remember the last time I tried to remote auto start from the app without me getting a text message 10 seconds later saying the alarm is going off. Obviously annoying for the neighbours (and me) in a morning.
I've tried everything in this thread including reducing the interior sensitivity, parking in different places (not near other cars or walls) and anything else I can think of.
The car had its 1 year service last year and a Sensus upgrade was done so I'm confident I have the latest software.
It's just annoying that something so potentially useful (especially in the UK winter) can be so problematic.
