Interesting Hybrid Charging concept
Interesting take on things. I currently drive a plug-in, and with a standard 13A socket, it will only charge at 10A to prevent it getting too hot. This takes a long time - fine for overnight - would be better if it could use a 16A or even 32A to work around a more typical day. I would also be interested to know how they’re managing the connection to prevent a short circuit, or connect the live to neutral. I’ve got a few ideas, but I’m not sure that a magnet could be relied upon to make sure this was correct every time while keeping the correct insulation levels.
