No problems here.
Two XC40s - so far! Inscription Pro T5 AWD Auto - Glacier Silver/Blond/21”, fully loaded, from Jan thro Sep 2021. Polestarred. Also one of the first FEs - a D4 AWD Auto - Bursting Blue/Charcoal/20" from Mar thro Aug 2018. Also Polestarred.
I'm on 19's too, find the road noise almost non existent, also had a demo car on 20's for a good few hours and found that really good too, maybe check your tyre pressures??
XC40 T5 FE - Bursting with blue and now with some extra blue - Polestar
The brand of tyre is going to have more impact on tyre noise than wheel diameter. Volvo have several OEM relationships. Which tyres are you running?Michaelxc40 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 29, 2018 11:18 am Just wondering how people are finding the tyre / road noise. Hi
After having a nightmare of an Touran I was happy to join the Volvo owner family. But I also feel the tyre/ road noise is irritating noticable. City driving is ok. But on country roads and highway its loud. Car is fitted with Continental Premium Contact 6 19' from factory. Feels like noise comes from the back of the car. Any ideas?
