Just wondering what sort of insurance quotes for the new Xc40 people are getting. I know it’s a very subjective issue down to age / area etc. I have had quotes ranging from under £300 to over £3000. Volvo quote being in excess of £600. Let’s share any good quotes / companies to try.

I'm not getting mine for over a month yet but I did a quote on a comparison site a couple of weeks ago and the best quote came up at £266.

My insurance quote coming in at around £300 using the meer cat comparison website. Less than current 6yr old DS3 but not strictly accurate as only quoting on FE at the mo. The quote includes business use. £266 is good, I think?

This will be a "how long is a piece of string" thread but looking like the £220 to 250 level (depending on the "extras") LV and esure looking like initial strong candidates on first high level run. I'm months away from looking properly as have just transferred over existing insurance from old car.

Yes very similar to Boomer. On my investigations they will add it to my existing insurance until it runs out at no extra cost then quoted about 240 to 260 GBP FComp for the next year.
I will have to sign up for the next year at that time but seems a good offer.
Company is Privilege Insurance.

Interesting. When I ran quotes a few weeks back I was getting £430 at best. Now I’ve had a company car for 3yrs but have full ncb. 46, rural post code one claim in June 2013.

I did wonder if it was because the car wasn’t on all quote systems yet but will be interesting to see when I start getting real quotes next week (hopefully)

The best I've got is around £600. This is based on 11 years NCB, and a London postcode, on street parking.
