Ok, so I am now a proud owner of a Black Onyx XC40 T3. I have always taken pride in my car and would normally regularly wash and wax my car to make sure it looks smart. But with a black car the challenge is greater than normal. So, I have been looking at the possibility of applying a ceramic coating to help keep that new look and give the paintwork protection.
On other posts a saw what professional detailers can do - but I dont fancy shedding £500+. So the question is has anyone been brave enough to detail their own cars and then apply a ceramic coating? If so, what would you recommend and do you have any top tips?
