What car are you changing from?
We are going from a 2007 Audi A3 S-Line 1.8T to the XC40 Inscription Pro D3 AWD - quite the change. We were in California just prior to the shut down, and had an XC90 hire car, and we just fell in love with Volvo. We appreciate the XC40 is NOT an XC90, and there are going to be differences, but given our London location, this is just the best option for a small SUV IMHO. Bought a 2019 model, just waiting for the dealer to open so we can collect!
I am going from a 2002 S60 2.0T SE.
I’ve had it since it was 9 months old and done approx 160,000 miles in it. It took me best part of 18 months to make up my mind as the S60 still drives well but, as soon to be grandparents, and having 150 miles between us and the twin girls on the way, I thought it was time !!

I wish you joy with your Volvo.
XC40 T5 R Design Pro AWD Polestar
Gone from a 2016 Volvo v40 after 4 years; it never missed a beat. This is my third Volvo, I’m hoping it proves to be just as reliable as the last. They seem to have come on leaps and bounds since my first S40.

changing from a Kia Sportage GT Line 1.6T-GDI auto AWD . I owned it for 4 years without any issues. It was time for a change since I've had 3 Sportages in a row. I have been looking at Hybrids for a couple of months and the XC40 Recharge fits the bill. I would like to keep the build below £40k and the T4 does that.
