I wish you joy with your new XC40.
I have had mine a year now and it is still a pleasure to drive and live with.

I've enjoyed the Kuga beyond expectation, the only reason I am changing is I do 15-17k a year, and the value has plummeted... I looked at a new Kuga on PCP as well, but for a car the same cost (ish) as the XC40 the residual after THREE years was £13k, whereas the Volvo after 4 years is £17k... No brainer with payments at £230 rather than £330

MB S350 -> Jaguar XF -> BMW 330e -> Kia Niro PHEV-> XC40 all in the last two years

The MB was nice but expensive to keep, did not care much for the Jaguar or the Kia. The BMW was brilliant but too small, the Driver Assistance was much better than the Pilot Assist which is poor and primitive in comparison.
Used to have an XC40 T5 Recharge Inscription Pro MY21 with Polestar and useless Pilot Assist

Tiguan R-Line, the Tiguan was a sharper steer but the XC40 is smoother, more comfortable and more refined overall. The Tiguan was slightly better equipped (Matrix LED Lights, Paddle Shifters, rear seat tilt/slide, 3 zone climate) but the XC40 has a more premium design. Looks wise, very subjective but I prefer the side profile of the Tiguan but the front and rear profile of the XC40. Early days (just over a week) but no regrets so far.

BMW 420i Msport, fed up with how badly equipped it was (e.g. no folding mirrors!!)
