I used to have a Mercedes E350 estate. The lease ran out a few months ago. Very nice car, very poor attitude towards "valued" customers at mercedes. Due to this terrible attitude, i looked back to better times. I used to drive Saab 95s until the factory shutdown. Now I i am going close to Saab's home, the Volvo. I dont drive as much as I used to, this is the reason to have the XC40 (T4 Inscription).

A 57 plate BMW 325i, my old company car. Bought it after 4 years. Turned out to be a bad buy. Very poor car and unreliable not helped by poo servicing from cretins at Stephen Wanker James Bromley. Never will I buy BMW again, ever.

Coming from a 2015 BMW 330d Touring in Estoril blue. I love the car but the main issue nowadays is the fact that I have a herniated disc and getting in and out of the vehicle is a struggle, hence my search for an SUV which is easier to get in and out of but is still fun to drive. Step forward T5 XC40.

2017 Tiguan - a great car but in my wife’s words, a little utilitarian.

2017 Mercedes Benz C-Class coupe. It's lovely, but a little soul-less and lacking in character - perhaps it's a little too proficient.

It's also horribly impractical (I - 6'2" - can't sit in the back seats) and the boot isn't a great shape. The seats are uncomfortable on longer journeys as well, which was one of the things that led me to the Volvo. Fuel consumption isn't that much better than the Volvo (low 40s). I'm also not convinced by the looks - from some angles, it looks fabulous and from others, it looks weird (particularly in the C-pillar area). The interior is definitely better than the exterior in that respect.

I will miss the HUD and the fancy dancing headlights, though. I was thinking about an XC60 because both of those are options for that car, but I have no need for something that big.
