Evaluation of design and performance of XC40 is also high in Japan.
The impression of the front seats seems to be good. But it seems got smaller than the old VOLVO ...

However, with respect to the rear seats...
Many people say that the backrest is upright too much, not suitable for long distances.

I have sat in the rear seat of the exhibit vehicle only, but I did not notice that much.

For Japanese people whose average height is not so high, I think that there is not much problem.

Persons with a large height in another country, what kind of impression do you have about the interior comfort of XC40 especially the rear seats?

I found that the seat level was a bit low, and it was a bit short, so as an adult, there’s not a huge amount of support. Fine for shorter trips, and children, but I wouldn’t want a long trip in the back. Plenty of leg room though, which might help alleviate the lack of under thigh support.
