Only drove it for 55 miles but I can say I'm impressed with the refinement and ride comfort (despite 19 wheels). Engine seems to be perfectly adequate both off the line and when accelerating in gear. The fuel economy is impressive, I got 48.5 MPG on this trip, which is more than you can expect from a brand new engine.
The gearbox is a tiny bit slow to respond when you want to gain acceleration quickly (i.e. entering a roundabout) but I already got used to that. In all other circumstances the changes are so smooth that you hardly notice them. And no, the gear selector is not an issue for me. Tapping twice instead of once is hardly the end of the world.
The start stop system didn't seem as bad as the reviews say. Pilot assist is awesome! Takes so much stress out of driving. On the motorway it's pretty much flawless keeping the car in the middle of the lane and requiring very little input from the driver.
Also had a bit of time to play with the Harman Kardon and it sounds great to me. Equal or a bit better than the HK I had on my V40.
For those waiting... It's definitely worth it! Will try to put some more photos later on.
