ESC warning light

Our ESC light comes on intermittently, so far only when the roads are wet. Is this a big issue, or should I book it in for a fault repair in “a few weeks”!

Jim, I think I would definately get this checked out. The light should flash if ESC is being activated in anger and other issues should have an accompanying message so hopefully it could be just a bit of a gremlin. I would imagine the dealer will be able to look in a software log somewhere and trace the issue.

I have my D4 now and this is happening to me. I have taken it back to the dealer to be checked, they said their read out said it was "improbable input" from the pedals and said it was fine and nothing to worry about. (the error had gone by the time I had my appointment at the dealer)

However today (v rainy) the warning comes on when just pottering around at 30 mph. Something is NOT right!
