I wonder if the Momentum’s are experiencing less of a delay. Mine’s on a similar lead time to yours, trjim2k5. Slightly longer if you include the two months wrangling over price.

Hi there I drive a car transporter and delivery time is from whenever the dealer calls off the car from when it arrives into the uk ports a lot of the volvos come into Killingholme which is East Yorkshire then the delivery company has normally 5 days to get the vehicle built into a load for a particular truck, amount of cars on a truck depends on the type of transporter and the size of vehicles built into the load normally everything runs smoothly dependant on traffic conditions and whether the truck suffers any failures along the way

Think your satnav needs reprogramming Nth and Sth Killingholme have never been in Yorkshire, originally Lincolnshire, then South Humberside and now North Lincolnshire.

Hi AntD007,

As per Boomer's post, 7 -10 days would be correct, mine has taken 9 days from production date to delivery to my dealer in UK.
Production date: 6th September.
Production completed: 10th September.
Boat docked in UK: 9pm 12th September.
Delivery to Dealer: Today, 14th September.

Lol it’s on the east coast and has a Doncaster postcode which is a Yorkshire postcode

I don't have the car yet, due to work commitments it'll be next Saturday (22nd) before I'm able to pick up the car,really looking forward to it, it's been a long wait.

Just wondering if your car has been put on the production line yet?
Got an email today from my dealer saying it's on production line but won't be finished till next Tue 22nd. Is that the time it takes to be made or is he having me on?

Mine is apparently on the ferry on the way to UK! From what I've been told, the build takes approx 3-4 days.
