Does everyone bother with the 3 month checkover?
Mine is due now and I'm personally not bothering as everything is working just fine with no problems.
So will leave well alone as I have a big distrust of garages anyway.
Perhaps I'm one of the lucky ones to have no issues at all.
3 month checkover....
I took mine in just for a quick chat, free coffee, for them to do the "once over", was on my way in about 30 mins. with a stamp in the book. It was free and a check that everything was as it should be so seemed like a no brainer.

Booked 3 month check and software update free loan car for the day and no charge for the check up. They send an email a few days before the check and request a list of anything that particularly needs checking or fault investigation, very professional approach from Stoneacre Lincoln.
Told that any Software update can take sometime to install.

Did the Volvo dealer call to arrange this, or did you have to sort it out with them? I've just realised mine is overdue for the 3mth check by a few weeks.

Kirsty,
I suspect you'll use the same dealer I did for the 3 month check, Rybrook. They were hopeless. When I collected the car and asked about the software updates they said they would take too long so hadn't bothered! Mechanic jumped in the car in his overalls and no seat cover too. Very sloppy.

Yeah, the experience in general there was poor through my purchase, but the new sales manager seems to be an improvement - guess that wouldn't help me with the service dept though.early adopter wrote: ↑Fri Aug 31, 2018 8:24 pm Kirsty,

Unsurprisingly, the contact us form I submitted yesterday has had no reply so far
