Just had my first fill up 42 liters shows 360 miles in tank and 32 mpg anyone else got figures

Shows 510 miles after my first fill.

My pretty standard figure now is around 490 miles per full tank. Average after 3500 miles of 41.5 mpg.

Sooo many variables....?!

Driving style, drive mode, journey type/length, air con, start/stop,........

one tank isn't going to tell you much.

Have you looked at the Volvo on call app and see what individual journeys are coming in at? That might highlight any problem trips/circumstances.

Also first fill up by dealer might not have been a full tank (despite what they tell you). Which might explain why 360 miles@42 litres doesn't yield 32 mpg.

If you have completely topped up with your first fill, that should can be a proper benchmark to measure against your next fill.

My last half tank averaged 31.7mpg doing short suburban trips.
The average for the 700 miles since I got it is 32.8 which includes a couple of 100 mile journeys.
Pretty poor really but I'm hoping things will improve as I settle into the car.
I do find the throttle response is a little vague and can end up over accelerating after the initial flatness which cant be helping.

Just had a 70 mile journey without much traffic took 1hr 20 mins averaged 36.6 mpg according to normal in Volvo on call so well happy with that with the T5 engine

Try using an independent app called "Fuelly" a very good and accurate fuel consumption monitor, I have been using it for the past couple of years with my Audi.
