It's on, with shiny badge too
So, have to say I echo the comments of PJM007 and allroad.
Only done 10 miles with it on with a quick blast down a dual carriage way so early days.
Gearbox; defo more responsive and in dynamic mode as PJM007 suggested, it brings out the best of both the power upgrade and auto box.
Performance, no huge gains as expected 0-60, however the additional torque and BHP (40flbt and 20bhp mid range) make a decent shove for the T5 going down the road, certainly surprised my mate who was following in his torquey diesel. Have to say it was actually quite impressive for a baby suv.
Not sure it's worth the £695 (soon to go back up to normal price of over £800) as I know I can have the engine mapped for about £250 and gearbox for around £200, however great thing with the polestar of course is it doesn't impact your warranty and does add a little value to your car apparently come resale time.
I'm due to take the car on a long trip to Leicester from Bournemouth next week, best return so far for a 100 mile trip has been 38mpg so will be good to see how the optimisation pack helps or hinders with that, I suspect it will help by a little margin as the car has a fair bit more torque now.
One final thing from me for now on this, I gauge the effectiveness of any performance upgrade by how it feels and whether it brings a smile to my face, and I have to say, it certainly did on the dual carriageway
