Hi there has anyone ordered the polestar upgrade on their car and has anyone driven an XC40 with this upgrade and if so do you think it’s worth the extra money ??

I'm also interested in any information on Polestar for a D4 Diesel XC40 FE should it be available ie, cost, performance enhancement, etc. ?
I understand Dealers can install Polestar, but as my build date is not until September, can it be done at the factory in Ghent ?

Dealer told me it’s not don’t at the factory even during the build, dealer sends off for a code and it’s always done at the dealership he then went into say that unless you intend towing there might not be much point having it done on the T5 engine as it dosnt increase power by much it just gives increased response and gearshift change midrange

Had polestar on my XC60 D5, wasn't a huge performance increase over the stock D5 if I recall correctly. However the D4 + Polestar on the XC60 was fairly significant I think - almost up to D5 specification. Assuming you'd get the same sort of performance improvement on the XC40 D4, so expect it to be worth doing.

Would be really keen to see a side by side of the D4 with this. My FE is still months away...

When I contacted Polestar direct about the upgrade for the XC40, they said it wouldn't be available until the end of summer 2018.

I am looking forward to it too. Is it confirmed that Polestar will offer an upgrade for the T3 manual?

It's available to add to an order on the configurator so I don't see why not.
