If you register on the Polestar website they will then send you a certificate.

I believe that the AWD optimisation has been part of the XC40 software since the software launch in July.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I have now plumped for Polestar and can’t see how to get a certificate on the Polestar website.

Can anyone help?

Strange, they seem to have removed the "register your product" option.
Maybe email them to see if they still do the certificates.

The dealer who will do the polestar upgrade will fill the application for the certificate and the polestar tag and will be either delivered to your address or the dealer address. At least this is what happened in my case.

I had it installed a couple of weeks ago, dealer gave me a box with a printed aluminium "proof of purchase" plaque and badge inside.

It's a new badge design as of 2019, gone is the polestar blue colour

I don’t know whether I prefer the blue or the white... hopefully white will look ok on my black

Personally, I prefer the old blue badge. That new white one just wouldn't stand out against my white paintwork!
