A question for you lucky people who have already taken delivery of your XC40.
Does the Sensus system give lane guidance via an on-screen pictogram at multi-lane junctions?
E.g. on reaching a point at say a 4 lane junction where the route takes you left, 2 left lanes are marked on the road as left, right 2 are straight on. Do you see a pictogram of the 4 lanes with 2 left arrows and two upward arrows on the navigation screen, something like this?
My current car does this, I’ll miss it if the Sensus doesn’t.

Thanks senwar. Perhaps you could answer another question, does the Sensus give audible warnings for POIs when you reach them and if it does can you select which POI groups give the audible warning? e.g. speedcamera POIs give it, others don’t

It doesn't give audible warnings no - but frustrating that as it would be helpful

Pretty sure it does, mates got an xc90 with the Sensus Nav and he gets a visual and audio alert so would be surprised if the XC40 systems doesn't do this. I seem to recall he had to do something to get it working though as it used to bring up just a visual warning so it must have the capability, just need someone to have a play to verify

Mine definitely doesn't, just visible only - be happy to hear what can be done though
Audible warning setting info. I switched it off as it becomes quite annoying!
Two XC40s - so far! Inscription Pro T5 AWD Auto - Glacier Silver/Blond/21”, fully loaded, from Jan thro Sep 2021. Polestarred. Also one of the first FEs - a D4 AWD Auto - Bursting Blue/Charcoal/20" from Mar thro Aug 2018. Also Polestarred.
On my current car's nav system you can enable/disable the warning sound for any POI group you add yourself. I get my speed cam data from PocketGPSWorld and create a "My Speedcams" POI group, I then assign a warning sound to it and that's it. Nice thing is it even gives the warning if you are not in active navigation mode so you hear it whenever you approach a speedcam, not just when you are following a route.
I find it really useful and not at all annoying...
