service plan £399 3y - worth it?

Hi all, what are your thoughts about purchasing Volvo's service plan at £399 one-off payment for year 1,2,3 annual service.
Is it worth it? Anyone know Volvo annual service prices?

I did a service cost check yesterday and it came in at £230 y1 and y3 and £375 y2. So I would definitely say yes.

Annoyingly I was told I can’t buy it as mine is a lease.

Personally I would jump at it, a friend of mine in March got a 1.2 Kia Picanto and paid £359 for exactly the same!!
First Edition T5 in Fusion Red with 20" Alloys.

There's a five-year £599 deal, too. I'll be going for that.

Even if I don't keep the car that long, my sales manager made the point that the plan is transferable and he would always give a higher part-ex price on a car with a plan.
Cancelled after waiting 3 months to be told delivery will take 11 months.

How come you are all getting these prices for a 3 year service plan?
I've just entered my car details on Volvo's site and it came up at £973.90 for the 3 year plan!!!
First Edition T5 in Fusion Red with 20" Alloys.
Now Sold

When I eventually get my car, it's coming included with 3 years servicing. Surprised not everyone got that.

You can buy the 3 year for £399 or 5 year for £599 when ordering your car.
White T4 R Design Pro ordered 17/04/18 and supposedly arriving 30/09/18. Picked up 2nd October. :D

If you look at Volvo uk site under XC40 offers the service deal is there. You get it through the dealer up to 1 month after registration.
