My Volvo ID - May 2018 offers (sunshades and boot mat)

- £40 off sunshades
- £40 off reversible and flexible load compartment mat

Two caveats. 1. Wasn't aware that the XC40 had sunshades as an option. and 2. Neither offers appears to specifically list the XC40 but perhaps covered under "other" in the selection area.

You need to sign into "Volvo ID" https://www.volvocars.com/uk/own/owner-info/myvolvoid

Select "Offers" from the menu

And then it looks like completing a form to/for your local dealer.

Just had a look at this Boomer. You could as you suggest just tick “Other”, but I suspect that what we have again here is the generic Volvo ID system not yet updated and aware that XC40s even exist. To your point, there may not be any XC40 sunshades to order yet, although we do know there is a reversible boot mat.

I submitted an order to Marshall Volvo Nottingham. They just got back to me to say the XC40 is not included in this promotion. They offered me 10% discount off a mat if I order when the car is delivered...

Interesting - so looks like if there is no tick box for an XC40 then that that's.

But now I wish that I had taken a screen capture of last months offer, as pretty sure that it said in that the boot liners (specifically mentioning the XC40) would follow and low and behold next month we do have boot liners... but no XC40. Well done Volvo marketing, another gold star. Not!
